The State of South Carolina uses the NASCLA Accredited Contractor Exam to test for its highest license classification of Mississippi Commercial Contractor. You can read more about the NASCLA Exam and procedures on the NASCLA tab.
In addition to passing this exam, you must meet all other application requirements issued by the State Licensing Board. In South Carolina, this currently includes;
- CPA prepared Financial Statements (in most cases)
- Minimum net worth requirements
- Work Experience Affidavit
- Passing score on the separate South Carolina Business Law exam
Minimum net worth and financial statement requirements are based on job limits of $30,000 to unlimited and range in minimum net worth requirements from $6,000 to $250,000.
